Cooked Rice Vada

This is a recipe from left over cooked Rice. This is a very tasty snack. You can surprise your surprise guests with this sanck.This is a very simple and made in 5 mins dish with few ingredients.Bachelors can try this too. I can say this as a Bachelor recipe too. They can surprise their friends. Also you don’t waste rice by cooking this snack. I am sure this will be a very new dish for you. For cooking this snack you don’t need much things in your kitchen or samayal arai.Try this and enjoy ur day.
Cooked rice Vada
Ingredients
- wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- left over or fresh cooked rice – 1/2 cup
- green chilli- 2 fine chopped
- small size onion – 1 fine chopped
- Red chilli powder -1/4 tsp
Note:
For richness you can add corriender and curry leaves too.
You can use either red chilli powder or green chilli alone. Nothing is compulsory
Preparation
- Take a bowl and put left over or fresh cooked rice ,wheat flour, green chilli,onion,chilli powder, corriander and curry leaves (optional) in it.
- Sprinkle water and mix all well. all should get blender well. Wheat flour will act like binding agent.
- Make small balls. Flattern them and fry in oil.
- Crispy ,Tasty rice vada is ready.
Tips
Eat hot. You can eat this with chutney’s like coconut chutney, sambar etc.

i tried to make this one but my vada keeps breaking! how to fix that?

Don’t add more water. Also make it not too thin.
Just make a ball keep in your hand and using other press it just like we are doing for cutlet.
